  • St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy offers physical, occupational and speech therapy in a state-of-the-art facility that includes:

    • A large therapy gym equipped with a recumbent and upright bicycle, an upper body exerciser, therapeutic exercise balls and a variety of stretching, strengthening and stabilization equipment.
    • Bioness neuroprosthetic device for upper extremity rehabilitation following stroke and traumatic brain injury. 
    • Specialty equipment for industrial rehabilitation. 
    • Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (Vital Stim) device to improve swallowing function.
    • Private treatment and evaluation rooms.

    The highly trained and skilled licensed therapists at St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy offers a multi-diciplinary team including occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists who work to best improve the quality of life for each patient.

  • Lori BrownLori Brown has been an Occupational Therapist since 1992 and has been working with St. Anthony Hospital for over 20 years. Lori is certified in Lymphedema and Venous management as well as being a certified hand therapist. She provided compassionate oncology rehabilitation. She offers an array of experience, including neurological, custom splinting for trauma and post-surgical hand patients, and ergonomic education. Lori enjoys walking her dogs and spending time with her family.

    Jennifer DunneJennifer Dunne joined the occupational therapy team at St. Anthony Outpatient Rehabilitation in the summer of 2016. Jennifer earned her master’s degree in 2010 at the University of Scranton in her home state of Pennsylvania. Prior to moving to Colorado, Jennifer practiced primarily with neurologically impaired individuals in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. She was thrilled to join St. Anthony Hospital and move to Colorado in 2015 and transitioned to outpatient care shortly after.

    Jennifer joined our team with a special interest in treating clients for neuromuscular rehabilitation following spinal cord injury, stroke and brain injury. Other strengths include the treatment of progressive neurologic disease (MS, PD, ALS, GBS) and orthopedic injury. She has special training in vision therapy, kinesiology taping, Balance Wear and hand splinting.

    In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, rock climbing, skiing and making crafts.

    Tara FergusonTara Ferguson joined St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy in 2016. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation science and from Chatham University in 2012 with her doctorate degree in physical therapy. 

    She previously worked in Pittsburgh in an outpatient clinic that specialized in orthopedics and sports medicine. She is a certified manual therapist and has completed Functional Dry Needling level 1.

    Outside of work, Tara enjoys running, hiking, climbing, mountain biking and checking out breweries.

    Nate HallahanNate Hallahan has been part of the St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy team since 2008. Nate graduated physical therapy school with a master's degree in 2007. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, certified in LSVT BIG Parkinsons therapy and also performs SFMA and vestibular therapy.

    Outside of work he currently coaches varsity lacrosse at Green Mountain High School in Lakewood and enjoys a variety of sports including hockey, lacrosse, running and rock climbing. 

    Ben MarchisioBen Marchisio joined St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy in 2012. Ben earned a master's degree in physical therapy in 2002 and completed a doctorate in 2006. Currently, he is seeking certification in manual therapy through North American Institute of Manual Therapy.

    Ben has a wide variety of experience across all aspects of health care including hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities and outpatient clinics that allow him to understand and guide patients through their entire care, recovery, and rehabilitation process.

    Outside of work, Ben enjoys time outdoors skiing, hiking, fishing and running half marathons. He's also an avid college and NFL football fan.

    Kathy ZuehlsdorffKathy Zuehlsdorff has been a practicing speech-language pathologist since 1991 and has been with St. Anthony Hospital since 1986. She has specialized training in swallowing, stroke, and head injury. She is also certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Therapy Program for Parkinson’s patients. 

    Kathy is passionate about community outreach and helped to establish the first Stroke Camp in Colorado as well as the Stroke Support Group at St. Anthony Hospital. Her entire career has been devoted to working with adults who experience communication and/or swallowing disorders related to neurological impairment.

    James EstesJames Estes is a physical therapy assistant who has been with St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy since 2007. James has experience with orthopedic, trauma and neurologic disorders as well as fascial movement taping, sports injury prevention and sports return.

    James is also a certified leader for Stepping On, a fall prevention program.

    Liz MurrayLiz Murray has been practicing as a certified occupational therapy assistant since 2012. Liz received her degree at Goodwin College in Connecticut and began her career at St. Anthony Hospital in October 2012.

    Liz rotates between acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation. Liz’s strengths are in orthopedics, neurology and trauma rehabilitation, stroke recovery and hand therapy. Liz also helps run the Stroke Support Group at St. Anthony Hospital.

    In her free time she enjoys skiing, yoga, exploring Colorado and spending quality time with friends and family.

    JessicaJessica Mulhearn is a physical therapy assistant who has been practicing since 2006. She joined the St. Anthony Outpatient Therapy in 2013. She previously worked in her home state of Missouri in both inpatient and outpatient facilities.

    Jessica specializes in APPI core strengthening/spinal stabilization. She is also a certified therapeutic pain specialist. She enjoys working with orthopedics, low back pain, balance education/retraining, theraball programs, CVA's, and chronic pain.

    Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hiking, pilates, yoga, walking her Beagle and eating good food.
