Centura Health formed in 1996 as a faith-based, non-profit health network designed to manage and strengthen its hospitals and services. Our collective Values reflect the holistic care and wellness approach of the Adventists, along with the Catholic tradition of caring for the underserved.  Many of the hospitals within the Centura Health network have served their communities for well over 100 years.

Centura Health has been hosting residency training programs throughout the nation for many years and continues to Pioneer Health by connecting with and empowering people to make smarter decisions about their health and wellness.

St. Anthony Hospital continues to pioneer health through the Surgery Residency Program with the inaugural class that began July 2014. Our Residents enjoy a unique opportunity to collaborate with leadership to shape this new program. We value their feedback and rely on them to help facilitate their learning and professional experience.
