    Retirement Planning/401(k)

    Centura Health is also proud to offer a 401(k) plan with a generous annual employer contribution and matching rate. When an eligible associate contributes six percent of their pay, they can earn up to six percent in employer contributions. Our financial partners also provide tools and education to help you plan and save for the future.

    Wellness Resources, Education and Support

    As part of the Centura Health family, you’ll have access to Code You, our internal well-being program included as part of our benefits. Code You provides associates (and their spouses enrolled in a Centura Health Medical Plan) with health and well-being programs for emotional, behavioral and social support; resources for lifestyle improvement; opportunities for fun activities and challenges; wellness incentives to reduce Medical Plan premiums; preventive care and disease management.     Vacation and Sick Leave

    Fifteen (15) days per year (No Saturdays or Sundays, and is not carried over into next year). Vacation days may not be taken on some rotations. No pay is given in lieu of unused vacation leave.

    Five (5) days of sick leave are permitted per year and do not carry over into the next year; pay is not given in lieu of unused sick leave time.

    Educational Leave

    Five (5) days paid educational leave can be used during the second or third years of residency for the purpose of attending approved CME meetings. There is a one-time education allowance of $1,000.


    Meals are provided through the physician lounge. Weekend and evening meals are provided through the hospital cafeteria.


    Free parking is provided for both the hospital and clinic.
