- First in the state to implement the TransVac system that automates the entire waste handling process
and reduces infection risks and manual labor. Other technologies such as the Beacon Nurse Call
system and the LIKO™ Patient Lift system are the most comprehensive systems in the region.
- Design and construction of the new facility incorporated many environmentally friendly factors.
TechnoFloor™ slip-resistant surfaces will be installed in patient rooms that can be easily cleaned for
infection control. Paints, carpets and finishes specified for the interior of the new building contains
low volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Dual occupancy sensors are installed throughout the
hospital that turn lights off when activity ceases.

- Level I Shock Trauma Center - We are a level I trauma center equipped with a dedicated trauma room, T-10, which is the only surgical suite of its kind in Colorado. We also operate Flight for Life Colorado, providing emergency air transport throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
Cardiac Care - St. Anthony Hospital is treating heart attacks 38 minutes faster than the national average and recently received the 2011 American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline® Silver Receiving Award. We are also the only hospital in the region and one of few in the country offering balloon cryoablation, a breakthrough treatment for atrial fibrillation.
