Ben Wiederholt, Group Vice President for Mission Integration
Ben’s service to the organization is centered around leading the integration of our mission to influence how the healing ministry of Jesus is translated in the context of today’s health care environment. Building on the foundation of our legacy and in partnership with community stakeholders, he helps ensure that the implementation of strategic initiatives within the Mountain North Denver Operating Group provides holistic care for all people who are ill and nurtures the health of all people in our communities. He also provides direct oversight for spiritual care, community benefit, integrative health, and lodging and support services at St. Anthony Hospital.
In his previous roles, Ben was Vice President of Mission Integration at various levels at Catholic Health Initiatives facilities in Kentucky including for Saint Joseph Health System and Saint Joseph Hospital (interim); Flaget Memorial Hospital; and Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. He also has experience as an Assistant Principal of Mission at Ursuline Academy Catholic High School and spent time as a community organizer.
Ben is a graduate of Edgewood College in Madison, WI with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Philosophy. He also earned a Masters Degree in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, MO and a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He is also a member of the National Association for Lay Ministry and the American College of Health Care Executives.
Ben’s joy is found through his wife Jessica and their four sons: Samuel, Luke, Abiti, and Abe. In addition to spending time with his family, he is a sports enthusiast as an observer and practitioner.
