The Surgery Residency at St.
Anthony Hospital is sponsored by the Kansas
City University of Medicine and Biosciences College (KCU). KCU is a
private university comprised of a College of Osteopathic Medicine, founded in
1916, and a College of Biosciences. Kansas City University of Medicine
and Biosciences College is the oldest medical school in Kansas City, Mo., and the
largest in Missouri. The College of Osteopathic Medicine is recognized as
a leader in osteopathic medical education and health care by exceeding
standards of academic and clinical achievement.
Centura Health has been hosting
residency training programs throughout the nation for some time. At St. Anthony
Hospital, our Surgery residency program just started July 2014.
Our Residents enjoy a unique
opportunity in helping to shape this new program. We value their feedback and
rely on them to help facilitate their learning and professional experience.
